Mr. Shyam Lal Bansal is a seasoned and accomplished banker with a distinguished career spanning more than four decades during which he handled a wide range of subjects pertaining to commercial banks in various high-level capacities culminating as the Chairman & Managing Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce. Mr. Bansal is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, a Masters in Commerce and is a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He started his career as a probationary officer in Union Bank of India and went on to have an illustrious professional innings spanning over 39 years in Banking Industry with Union Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce. During his banking carrier with Union Bank, he headed various branches, regions and Zones and promoted to the position of General Manager in 2007. In April 2010 he took over as Executive Director of United Bank of India and in March 2012 he took over as Chairman and Managing Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce. He earlier held Directorships at Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Co Ltd and Oriental Insurance Co Ltd. Mr. Bansal joined IIL in February 2024 as a Non-Executive, Independent Director. Besides IIL, he also serves on the Board of Indiabulls Investment Management Limited and ZMV Real Estate Private Limited.

Mr. Supratim Bandyopadhyay, a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant, has vast experience in the field of Insurance, Finance, Investments and Debt operations. He is currently Chairman of a Consultative Committee on Investment for Insurance Companies. Mr. Bandyopadhyay earlier served as Chairman of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) for a period of three years from January 2020 to January 2023 and prior to this he was the Whole Time Member (Finance) of PFRDA for two years. During his tenure with PFRDA, the AUM of PFRDA increased almost 4 folds to ₹9 trillion. He held the position of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at LIC Pension Fund managing entire operations of LIC Pension Fund from April 14- Jan 18. Before LIC Pension Fund, he also served Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the largest Insurance Company of India for a period of more than three and half decades. During his tenure at LIC, he worked in various capacities heading two large divisions apart from being Chief (Investment) & Executive Director (Investment). Mr. Bandopadhyay joined IIL in February 2024 as a Non-Executive, Independent Director. Besides IIL, he also serves on the Board of Aditya Birla Sunlife AMC, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Co Ltd, India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation Private Limited and Finlabs India Pvt Ltd.

Mr. Anil Kumar Bhatia a distinguished banker who retired from Punjab National Bank, the 2nd Largest PSU Bank of India, as Circle head of Punjab region. He had held the Chairmanship of Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank (Subsidiary of PNB) for 3 Years during his tenure with Punjab National Bank. Shri Anil Kumar Bhatia is a B. Com and M. Com from Delhi University. He is also a CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Mr. Bhatia joined IIL in August 2022 as a Non-Executive, Independent Director. No other directorships are held.

Independant Women Director

Mrs. Praveen Gupta, holds Bachelors Degree in Commerce from University of Delhi, Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant, India (ICAI) and Partner at Mamraj & Co., Chartered Accountants, New Delhi.

She has rich experience in the field of Taxation, Audits and Corporate Laws. She has excellent academic and Professional records. Mrs. Praveen joined IIL in February 2020 as a Non-Executive, Independent Director. Besides IIL, she also serves on the Board of Prakash Pipes Limited as an Independent Director.

Whole Time Director

Mr. Anil Kumar Goyal has a distinguished corporate career of 36 years. He has joined Insecticides (India) Limited in the Year 2009, he has been assigned with various roles and responsibilities in the Company, he has led various portfolios in Operations and Administration. Mr. Anil Kumar Goyal is production oriented passionate people manager, driving production in focus and performance improvement. Other areas of his expertise includes sales, business planning, strategy development and innovation Shri Anil Kumar Goyal is Commerce Graduate from Delhi University. He has been appointed as a Whole Time Director of the Company in August 2022. No other directorships are held.

Whole Time Director

Smt. Nikunj Aggarwal is a B.com (Hons) from Hans Raj College, Delhi University. She has a diverse experience over 18 Years in Administration, Strategy and Customer relationship in Agro Chemical Industry and keen towards social cause.

She has been Whole-Time Director of the Company for nearly 10 years & a promoter of the Company and is responsible for the overall transformation of the Company over the last several years by managing numerous portfolios from Admin, Business Development, and CSR related activities. No other directorships are held.

Managing Director

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Aggarwal is a name to recon with in the crop protection & nutrition industry with over 30 years of experience. He has showcased remarkable growth under his stewardship. With a graduation in Commerce followed by a Diploma in Marketing, Mr. Rajesh started his career in 1993.

Vast experience in Agro Chemical Industry including Marketing, Manufacturing and Administration. He helped the Company to grow extensively over the period of time. He is playing vital role in formulation business strategies and effective implementation of the same. Mr. Rajesh Kr. Aggarwal founded IIL in 1996. Mr. Rajesh holds the position of Managing Director at IIL.

Besides IIL, he also serves the Boards of IIL Biologicals Limited (IIL’s Subsidiary), OAT & IIL India Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (IIL’s Joint Venture), Crop Care Federation of India, Emroyal Shiksha Pvt. Ltd.

Chairman

Mr. Hari Chand Aggarwal is the Chairman & Whole-time Director and promoter of the Company; he has established IIL along with his son Rajesh Kumar Aggarwal, Managing Director of the Company and started the operations of the Company in 2002. He has experience of more than 5 decades in the Agro-chemical Industry. He is actively engaged in management of the Company since inception and helped the Company to grow extensively over the period of time. He is playing vital role in formulation business strategies and effective implementation of the same. His leadership abilities have been instrumental in leading the core team of the IIL.
